The Secretariat is both the service centre for AARC members and the contact point for the public. From 2025-2028, it is located at the University of Maribor.  

The Secretariat has supporting tasks in the field of administrative organisation and communication. Its tasks include:

  • support ot the Presidency, the General Assembly and the Scientific Committee in organising all meetings,
  • maintain communication between AARC bodies and AARC members,
  • collect and administer the membership fees in line with the purpose of their use,
  • keeping records of all Scientific Committee and General Assembly meetings,
  • update the membership section of AARC according to the annual status,
  • report annually to the bodies of AARC,
  • archive materials related to AARC,
  • networking with secretariats of other rectors’ conferences and educational associations,
  • AARC website administration,
  • and all initiatives dealing with the institutional charges of AARC.
