Call for Applications

Dear AARC members,

Our dear member University Mozarteum Salzburg is forwarding a call of the municipality of Salzburg, the programme titled “Scientist-in-Residence”. They are inviting early-career researchers from various disciplines to undertake a research stay in Salzburg, the city of knowledge. The programme aims to provide international early-career researchers with access to Salzburg’s research institutions, foster sustainable networking, and thereby initiate and carry out new projects. Up to ten scholarships will be awarded for 2027. The duration of a stay is one month.

Eligible applicants are early-career researchers who hold a PhD or postdoctoral position at a university or are employed at a non-university research institution outside of Austria, or who can demonstrate several years of research experience. Applicants must be no older than 45 and must have their primary residence outside of Austria (this should be confirmed by appropriate documentation, such as a registration certificate). Applications shall go directly to the funding institution under the link https://www.stadt-salzburg.at/kultur/sir.

Sincerely yours,
